Summer Do 2022 Workshop Series (Jan 5 – 23)
Seeking Expressions of Interest for Participants, Tutors and Artists
Celebrate the rich traditions of arts and crafts at the Quarry Arts Centre, Whangārei. Hand-made, natural, local, inspirational – that’s the focus of this series of Adult workshops during January at ‘Summer Do 2022’.
The main series would run from Wednesday 5th January until Tuesday 11th January 2022, with workshops continuing throughout the rest of January. Workshops may range from half a day to five days.
Workshops could include: Sculpture – Oils / Acrylics / Watercolour painting – Clay hand building – Pottery wheel – Printmaking – Ceramics – Kiln – Earth Building – Outdoor installations – Lighting & Projection art – Mixed Media – Carving – Pizza making – Mosaics – Permaculture and many other potential workshops.
We are seeking interest from potential workshop participants, tutors and artists.
Expressions of interest are required no later than Monday 6th September. We will announce further details before the end of September.
The Quarry Arts Centre is operated by the Northland Craft Trust, a registered non-profit charitable organisation supporting arts in Northland for 40 years.
